My name is Ruben Santos, born in 1992 and from Algarve, a region in the south of Portugal. I have studied computer engineer, and I work as a backend engineer. In my free time, I like to spend quality time with my family, read non-fiction books, listen to music, watch tv series and play video games. A curious fact about me is that I cannot live without coffee and the gym. What I like most and what I am always looking for is to make a better version of myself every day.

DESCRIPTION
Streamcato developed a very similar application to Spotify, they received many songs and videos everyday, and my role was to ensure that the data was correctly into the database (ingestion) and was available in the different platforms, such as the dashboard and mobile apps.

DESCRIPTION
Elecctro is an IoT focused on vending machines. They produced a hardware that can be used by any vending machine and would make it smarter, for instance, you would be able to buy with your credit card or track the vends in real-time. I started working as a backend developer where I ended up most of the time, basically creating rest API endpoints for the web and mobile applications. Besides my main task as a backend developer, I also worked in the frontend, helping to create new sections on the dashboard.
